2003 Balance of Payments and Investor perception survey

Overview

Specifically, the survey was aimed at:

• Updating the private capital flows and stocks database for various analyses that would improve decision-making;
  
• Strengthening the public-private sector dialogue through undertaking perceptions on investment policy, factors affecting investment climate, and providing feedback to various stakeholders for their decision-making process;
  
• Setting up an institutional framework that will be mandated to regularly and comprehensively collect and analyze private capital flows for balance of payments, investment promotion and macroeconomic policy formulation purposes;
  
• Providing feedback and input for government policy formulation.
